Buriram is the story of a friendship born from a common passion for Thai-Khmer cuisine. Co-founders Nongyao Truadmakkha and Linda Cheng respectively from Buriram (Thailand) and Battambang (Cambodia), two cities sharing the same culinary roots through their geographical proximity , wanted to share with the world the rich flavors of Thai-Khmer cuisine with the recipes of their parents.
'' Every day, in addition to working in the fields, my mother prepared meals for our family using ingredients grown around our rice farm. Dinner was an important family ritual; The happiest memories of my childhood are the complex, yet delicate flavors of my mother's home-cooked meals. I want to use the skills my mother passed on to me to share these wonderful experiences with the world .''
