BOEUF GRILLÉ SERVI AVEC UNE SAUCE PIQUANTE À LA CITRONNELLE, TAMARIN ET FINES HERBES

GRILLED BEEF SERVED WITH A SPICY LEMONGRASS, TAMARIND AND HERBS SAUCE

A simple recipe that will please all lovers of grilled meats and vegetables.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 8-10 minutes

Ingredients for the meat:
  • 400 g. of beef (flank steak, filet mignon or cut of your choice)
  • 1 tbs. vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the sauce:
  • 1-2 tbsp. tablespoons lemongrass and tamarind chili paste
  • Juice of a lime or lemon
  • 1 tbs. fish sauce (optional)
  • Finely chopped herbs (coriander, mint, Thai basil)
Steps and instructions:
  1. Heat the barbecue over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the beef with vegetable oil, salt, and pepper, then let it marinate for 5-10minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the sauce.
  4. Cook the beef until desired doneness, then remove from heat and let it rest for 5-8 minutes.
  5. Slice the beef into strips and serve with the herb sauce. Serve with rice or a summer salad.
